I care about helping people think more clearly about their work. Whether that work shows up in a classroom, a small organization, or a community project, I am drawn to questions of strategy, communication, and impact.
My background sits at the intersection of marketing, education, and applied practice. I teach marketing and digital strategy at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, where I work closely with students on real projects that emphasize reflection, collaboration, and practical decision making. The classroom is not separate from the real world. It is a place to practice navigating it.
Outside of teaching, I work with small businesses and nonprofit organizations that want to move beyond surface-level tactics. I am most interested in helping teams build marketing and content systems that fit their goals, their audiences, and their capacity, without adding unnecessary complexity.
A growing part of my work involves exploring responsible uses of emerging technology, especially AI. I focus less on tools themselves and more on how people develop judgment, clarity, and accountability when new capabilities enter everyday work and learning.
I write regularly as a way to think in public. My writing reflects on marketing practice, education, leadership, and the often messy process of adopting new technology. If you want the clearest picture of how I think, my writing is the best place to start.
